Many people are concerned about what is now happening with international singer Jake Zyrus, previously known as Charice Pempengco.
This Monday, October 4, many were surprised and worried when seasoned showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin revealed on her show ‘Showbiz Now Na’ that things are not going well for Jake in America.
According to Cristy, some OFWs in America who saw Jake’s little gigs expressed concern that Jake was always intoxicated and losing his wits. In addition, Cristy reported that Jake had passed out from intoxication at one point. Another surprising revelation is that not only did Jake lose consciousness, but he also seemed to have l0st his life.
In fact, Jake was placed in a body bag, believing he was no longer alive. Good thing Jake was promptly transferred to the hospital, where doctors revived him and brought him back to life.
“Parang ganu’n.
Meanwhile, Cristy can’t help but wonder what Jake’s problem is these days, or if she’s going through something because she’s always intoxicated. Morly Alinio, Cristy’s co-host, expressed his thoughts on what is going on with Jake right now.
According to Morly, Jake may be unable to accept the direction of her career, where she used to be lauded and able to work with huge worldwide performers, but now her shine appears to have faded and she can only play in small shows.
It can be recalled that Jake is one of the most admired people in the world because of her voice when she was still Charice. She was granted a significant break in the music industry at an early age, where she astonished not only Filipinos but also worldwide performers, singers, and hosts. Aside from singing, Jake was granted the opportunity to appear on the American music TV show Glee, which helped her gain international fame.
