KC Concepcion and Matteo Guidicelli had a fun conversation when the latter recently became a guest on KC’s Instagram live program ‘Kitchen Collabs’ last November 12, Saturday.
In the said program, the two personalities did talk about cooking. Matteo even shared his passion for cooking tuna pasta. The actor also mentioned ‘making love to the pasta’ which is said to be the secret to making his cooking delicious.
They couldn’t help but also talk about Matteo’s wife, Sarah Geronimo. According to the actor, cooking must be done with love and should not be hurried.
Matteo shared,
“For example, when I cook pasta for Sarah and nagmamadali ako, or kailangan ko nang gawin dahil gut0m na siya or whatever, if I rush it, it’s not good, eh. So, you always have to put heart into it. It’s just like you’re making love to the pasta, kumbaga, you know what I mean?”
KC then asked Matteo to share a few updates about his relationship with Sarah now that they are married. According to Matteo, one of the keys to their successful relationship is that he apologized to his wife even though it was not his fault.
He said,
“One thing I learned about married life is that just say, ‘Sorry, Love. Sorry, kasalanan ko talaga.’ Kahit hindi mo kasalanan, sorry nang sorry, ‘no? You just say sorry all the time.”
Matteo also shared how Sarah is as a wife. He described her as a very kind and loving wife.
He added,
“Sobrang sweet niyang si Sarah, e. Lahat talagang… she’s a very, very caring wife.”
According to him, being honest with each other is the reason why their relationship is strong. He also said they do not hide anything from each other and this behavior is very important for them.
Matteo said,
“What makes us strong is that we’re transparent. We’re very transparent… She’s very honest. We’re honest with each other. That’s very important. You cannot hide things from one another.”
Matteo and Sarah married in a private ceremony this February. The two thought to keep their marriage secret from Sarah’s parents, which is why her mother allegedly went to the venue of the singer’s wedding.
Despite what happened between him and Sarah’s family, Matteo still hopes that they will fix everything one day. Sarah also said that it was her dream to marry him with their families.
The actor shared,
“I imagine that all the time. Not just for me, but obviously primarily for my wife and also my family… my parents. I believe our parents raised us up and worked so hard for us that one day, we could marry a woman or a man, and two families would combine. You know, having drinks together, pasta together. I think that’s our family’s dream.
“So yun. One day, it will happen.”
