Mga Estudyante Sa Saranggani, Nagiyakan Nang Sinabi Ng Kanilang Guro Na Matatanggal Ito Sa Kanilang Paaralan

It is natural for a teacher and his students to feel deeply depressed when they receive sad news such as leaving. So, even though the intention of a teacher in Maitum, Sarangani in his prank is to make his students happy, he did not expect his class to end up crying emotionally.

Recently, a video of a teacher at Malalag National High School went viral, showing how he successfully pranked his students that he is one of the teachers who will be fired from their school, eliciting various reactions from netizens.

In the video, it can be seen that Sir Jethro Bustamante was serious in his announcement, and when he mentioned his sad news, his students immediately complained.

Sir Jethro announced to his students,

“Malalag National High School has to trim down-magbabawas ng teachers so expected na may subject teachers kayong mawawala. Sadly, kasama ako roon.”

He added,

“Itong modyul na ‘to, ito na iyong last na pagbibigay ko sa inyo. Tomorrow, lunch time, I will be going. Sayang naman. Hindi man lang tayo prepared.”

Even before he finished his speech, some students were already crying out of sadness.

Upon seeing the reaction of his students, Sir Jethro immediately took back what he said, revealing that his announcement was just a prank, which is why everyone immediately screamed with joy.

The said video immediately went viral on social media. Aside from the praises Sir Jethro received, there are also some negative comments, which he defended as he believed with all his heart that there are also opportunities for their teacher who wants to know how deep the relationship between him and his students truly is.

Sir Jethro said,

“Pero ‘yung nakakatuwa dun is as a teacher, ‘yung nakikita mo na may importansya ka rin pala sa kanila na ayaw ka nilang mawala, ayaw ka nilang umalis ng school kais may pinagsamahan na kayo.”

Even though the prank ended up in emotional tears, he was filled with gratitude and appreciation for his students as he was moved by their genuine reaction.
