Not only the audience but even Pauleen Luna was moved to tears by the scene between Vic Sotto and Ice Seguerra in the concert held last Saturday, October 15.
Bossing Vic and Ice have been known to be close to each other ever since the former child actress was discovered on “Eat Bulaga!” more than three decades ago.
Ice celebrated his 35th year in the entertainment profession on Saturday with his ‘Becoming Ice’ concert at The Theater in Solaire.
Vic was one of the singer’s special guests, and they even sang a duet on the song “Somewhere Out There,” which Pauleen shared on Instagram.
Ice introduced his ‘Tito Vic,’ whom he called his ‘daddy-daddy’ in showbiz, before their duet.
Vic said, recalling the days when Ice was always by his side when they are singing,
“May tanong ako, ‘pag kumanta ba tayo kakandungin kita?”
The singer replied,
“Huwag na, baka mabali tuhod mo eh.”
In Pauleen’s post, she said that she was moved to tears by this scene of the two that is close to her heart.
She wrote in the caption of her post,
“This made me cry.”
The actress added,
“Growing up, i watched you and Vic be a tandem on screen but what people don’t know is the relationship you have when no one is watching. Sabi mo nga last night, father and son. As you know, Vic isn’t the most ma PR person in the world and that makes you more special cos i see how he values you and treats you like his own. He loves you so much and i am so blessed to witness it.”
Pauleen also told the two,
“Yesterday, he asked me “Paano ba kayo naging close ni Ice?” To be honest, di ko alam kung papano sasagutin. All i could say was “I honestly do not remember, basta ang alam ko, suplado yan but i felt that he liked me and na appreciate ko yun kaya vinalue ko yung relationship” Aba, alam mo ba naman ang sabi ng tatay mo? “Baka type ka!” Loko.”
Pauleen ended her post by congratulating Ice on his accomplishments in show business.
She said,
“Kidding aside, watching you pour out you heart and soul last night, made me realize what a bigger star you are. On stage and off stage. Kung magmahal ka, kahit tao man yan o craft o ano man, you give your all. Kaya we are so blessed to have you in our lives @iceseguerra ! Congratulations! Iba ka!!!”
Ice then replied to Pauleen and said,
“I love you both so much! Sobrang hindi ako kumpleto kung wala siya dito kagabi. Pareho kami nagpipigil kahapon. Hahahahaha!!!”
Aside from Bossing Vic, Chito Miranda, Regine Velazques, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, and other close friends of Ice attended his concert.
