Kapuso star Gladys Reyes showed how much she loved her father until his last moment.
Gladys recently shared on her social media account the sad news of her father’s d3ath on October 25 due to multiple heart fa1lure.
The family of the Kapuso actress thought that her father is a survivor of this pandemic. But they were also very grateful because he tested negative for C0VID-19.
Meanwhile, as a Papa’s girl and the eldest daughter in their family, Gladys promised that she would give her father a good exit.
The actress shared,
“Sabi ko sa Papa ko, bigyan ko siya ng grand exit.”
With the support she received from their family and relatives, Gladys was able to keep her promise to her beloved father.
At first, Gladys planned to replace her father’s property and she would add P200,000 to the payment. But she was very grateful when their relative, who owns a funeral parlor, suddenly called them.
According to a report from PEP.ph, the actress shared in their interview that the cost of the casket gifted to her father is estimated at P650,000.
The Kapuso star shared,
“Alam mo, Kuya Gorg, bigla naman tinext ako ng kamag-anak namin. Taga-Pampanga siya, may funeral parlor.
“In-offer nila ang kaba0ng galing sa U.S. Nag-unboxing daw sila, ipinadala sa Viber ko ang picture ng c0ffin, ang ganda! Worth 650K pala yun, regalo na raw nila kay Papa. Di ba? God is good!”
“Hindi ko na kailangang gumastos ng malaki, kasi dumadating na mga blessings.”
Gladys also received help from the Mayor of Antipolo in obtaining the land on which her loving father would be buried.
Meanwhile, Gladys is grateful to everyone who helped them give her father a good exit. She is also thankful to them as they helped her fulfilled what she promised to her father.
