Joey Marquez, Inaming Siya Ay Isang ‘Good Father’ At Handa Na Ang Last Will Para Sa Kaniyang 16 Na Anak
For actor Joey Marquez, even though he cannot be described as a good husband, he is proud to say that no one can say that he is not a good father to his children.
In a recent interview with veteran showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz on his YouTube vlog, Joey stated,
“I may not be a good husband, but nobody can tell me that I’m not a good father.”
Joey happily discussed his life and the kind of father he is to his 16 children during the interview.
Even though he admitted that he was a womanizer, Joey claimed that he did not regret loving many women, especially because of his past, which led to numerous children who now bring joy to his life.
According to Joey, he will do everything for his children without asking for anything in return.
The actor-comedian said,
“Sabi ko sa kanila, ‘Nandiyan kayo hindi para maging investment ko. Pinag-aral ko kayo para bayaran ‘yung mga ginawa ko.’ Hanggang sa mam4tay ako, hindi ako hihingi ng tulong sa inyo dahil hindi ko kayo pinanganak para maging investment ko.”
Joey said that his mother, who raised his siblings alone, is a significant reason he’s a good father.
He stated,
“In spite the (fact) na wala ang tatay ko nung lumaki ako, nung mag-aral ako, nung ipinanganak ako, kahit minsan hindi ko narinig na siniraan ng nanay ko ang tatay ko.”
He added,
“Ayong maramdaman nila na sa dami nila, wala sila na tatay na mag-alaga sa kanila kasi yun yung naramdaman ko nung bata ako eh.”
Because of his experience, Joey befriended the mother of his children so that they could be happy.
Joey said,
“Yun ang naging pattern ko sa mga anak ko…Gagawin ko lahat para maging masaya sila, pati mga nanay nila kinakaibigan ko lahat dahil alam ko kapag may nangyari sa nanay nila masas4ktan sila.”
He continued,
“Ayong magdamdam ‘yung mga anak ko at mamroblema siya sa magulang niya. Kasama na rito ‘yung paggalang ko sa mga nanay na hindi porket hiwalay na kayo, hindi na kayo magkasama, hindi ka na dapat nag-iisip para sa kanila.”
Joey further stated that if something were to happen to him, his final will and testament would ensure that all of his savings are divided equally among his children.
Joey shared,
“Alam mo kasi ako ‘yung hindi maluho na tao eh, hindi ako mahilig lumabas, hindi ako mahilig bumili ng kung anu-ano. Ang sakin kasi hangga’t maaari, ipon lang ako ng ipon, hindi para sa akin, para kahit papaano may maiwan ako sa mga anak ko.”
