What exactly is the exciting part of building a new house? Aside from the thrill, there is also the excitement of being able to make a specific request. Camille Prats, for example, battled hard for her desired appliance. But, what exactly it is?
On Sunday, April 17 this year, Kapuso actress and “Mars Pa More” TV host Camille Prats shared a vlog on her YouTube channel where she excitedly announced to netizens that she and her family will be moving after finishing the house she and her husband VJ Yambao were building.
Camille said in her vlog,
“The house is finally almost done after two years of building it. Siyempre the struggle and challenges of building it during the p@ndemic na ang dami naging restrictions and protocols, and all those things. Finally, we are nearing the finish line.”
Camille gave a sneak peek at their house since she was so excited about their forthcoming relocation to the new house. The interior is still empty as shown in the video, but the ceiling is done and the lights are in place. The other portion of the first floor of the Prats-Yambao family’s home is also surrounded by glass since the actress and her husband want to appreciate the overall view outside even if they are just inside.
Only laminates and woodwork are lacking from their kitchen, and all their appliances are ready.
When it comes to appliances, Camille lobbied hard for one feature: a towel warmer in each of their rooms on the second level.
Camille said,
“Ito ang non-negotiable ko kay VJ. In-order namin ‘yan kasi gusto ko meron kaming towel warmer sa lahat ng rooms dito.”
She added,
“Sinabi ko kay VJ, gusto ko kapag nagkabahay ako, may towel warmer because I don’t like using moist towels.”
The TV host also shared that most women only use one towel to dry their hair, so it doesn’t dry fast, and they use the same towel again when they wash at night and the next day.
Camille stated,
“Ayaw ko na ginagamit ko siya tapos nagiging amoy kulob so that towel warmer is really something na ipinaglaban ko na dapat meron talaga dito and I’m excited to use it.”
