Former actress Juliana Palermo proved that having an expensive wedding gown is not the basis for a woman’s wedding to be memorable.
This comes after she revealed that she would rather wear a bridal gown that costs P5,000 than one that costs about P100,000.
In an interview with PEP, Juliana said that the price of her wedding gown is not important to her. She chose to wear a gown that was just perfect for her wedding with her husband, Joel Crabtree.
Juliana made a shocking revelation when she admitted that she purchased the gown she wore in her wedding to Joel on August 27 in Cancun, Mexico, from an online store.
On her Instagram account, Juliana can be seen walking to the altar wearing a classic white mermaid wedding gown.
Juliana revealed that among the wedding gowns she chose online, one of which even reached the price of P75K, she still preferred the said gown.
“Online lang, I just ordered it… I ordered so many gowns online and tried them on. And then, I decided that one kasi it’s not too much of a bridal [gown], you know. And it’s not very simple, but it’s also not very pang-church wedding.”
“It was ranging from PHP75K, ‘tapos may PHP50K. ‘Tapos alam mo, yung sinuot ko? PHP5K! Yun yung mga tinignan ko. Yung pinaka-mahal na tinignan ko was PHP75K. Maganda talaga yun, but it didn’t feel organic.”
Meanwhile, despite wearing a gown that only costs P5,000, Juliana looks stunning and stylish on her wedding day.
Every woman’s wedding day is unique. But, as they say, it doesn’t matter how inexpensive or fancy you dress on your wedding day.

Because what matters most is the sacrament of marriage and the swearing of two people who love each other not just in front of people but, more importantly, in front of God.
Unbeknownst to everyone, Juliana and Joel already have a son named Jack Alexander. While Juliana has another child from her previous relationship, Ace Christian.
