Pokwang, May Rebelasyon Tungkol Sa Babaeng Ipinalit Sa Kaniya Ng Dating Partner Na Si Lee O’Brian

It’s disheartening to think that famous couples who many felt were hashtag relationship goals or perfect for one another have broken up.

One of these was the sudden separation of celebrity couple Pokwang and Lee O’Brian. The relationship between Pokwang and Lee, who is an American actor, was loved and admired by many because the two looked perfect for each other.

Pokwang and Lee initially met up in America during the filming of ‘Edsa Woolworth’ in 2014. The two immediately got along well probably because their personalities are the same: cool and funny. Lee later moved to the Philippines and decided to stay, and after four years of being together, they were blessed with a child, baby Malia.

Their love story might be common to many, but their relationship is truly amazing and admirable. But as we all know, not all relationships are perfect and like an ordinary couple, the love between the two did not end happily.

During the height of the pandemic, issues and problems tested their relationship. Until their relationship eventually ended in separation.

Netizens first noticed that the two were no longer posting photos together last year. Until July 10, 2022, Pokwang finally broke her silence regarding the issue.

She and Lee appear to have broken up in November 2021, but they just confirmed it last year. This comes after several rumors about their divorce arose, including netizens’ claims that Pokwang is purportedly the one who is spending for Lee and their family. But Pokwang insisted that Lee is a hardworking and responsible man and father. Furthermore, the comedian stressed that no third party was involved in their separation and that money was not the basis for their breakup.

Pokwang said in an interview,

“Una sa lahat walang third party, wala in all fairness kay Papang. Hindi rin pera, kagaya ng mga lumalabas na pera. Hindi ganoon, walang ganoon.

“Siguro napagod lang kami. Nasasaktan lang ako sa mga nababasa ko na kesyo palamunin ko daw. Masipag po ‘yung tao.”

Pokwang added that she chose not to let anyone know, especially her children, what was happening to her and Lee because she said she did not want them to be hurt.

“Hangga’t kaya ko, ako lang. Hanggat kaya ko itago sa anak ko, hanggat kaya ko huwag iiyak sa harap nila. Lahat ng burden gusto ko ako lang. Parang nahihiya ako mandamay sa pamilya ko.”

She also mentioned in a post that she and Lee parted peacefully and agreed to raise their daughter Malia through a co-parenting setup.

The Tiktoclock star said,

“Yes it’s been seven months since tapusin namin ni Papang ang lahat, pero maayos at mapayapa, at bilang magkaibigan na lamang, mas nagagampanan namin ang mga tungkulin bilang magulang ni Malia. Natapos man ito sa ‘di inaasahang panahon, hindi rito hihinto ang pagiging nanay ko sa mga anak ko. At mas lalo kong minahal ang mga biyayang sa ‘kin ay ibinigay ng Panginoon.”

Pokwang also slammed those who said her breakup with Lee was punishment for her for supporting a politician in the last election.

She said,

“Sa mga single parent na kagaya ko, hindi karma ang natapos na pagmamahalan kundi mas pinapatatag ka at pinaghahanda ka sa mas magaganda at mas maraming biyaya, hindi karma ang mabiyayaan ka ng mga anak na nagpapasaya at nagpapangiti sa ‘yo araw-araw at dahilan ng pagsisikap mo sa buhay.”

But, after more than six months of confirming and clarifying all issues about their separation, it appears that she and Lee did not separate properly and peacefully. This is due to Pokwang’s persistent accusations that her former partner’s new girl was unattractive and cheap.

She wrote in the caption of her IG story,

“nang makita mo pinalit sayo ng ex mo. Huh? Akala koba ako na ang chaka? Bwahahahha ang cheap!!!!”

Malakas ang hinuha ng marami na si Lee nga ang tinutukoy ni Pokwang sa kaniyang cryptic post. Sa isang hiwalay na post, tila malalim naman ang pinaghuhugutan ni Pokwang nang sabihin niya na ilang tao ang binura niya sa kaniyang buhay at pagkatapos ay iwinelcome ang aso na iniregalo niya sa kaniyang anak na si Malia na aniya ay may higit na pusong tao kaysa sa mga taong binura niya sa kaniyang buhay.

The comedian said,

“deleted some people from my life and we welcome this cutie na mas tao pa ang puso.”

Many people believe that Pokwang is referring to Lee in her cryptic post. In a separate post, Pokwang then mentioned the people whom she already erased from her life, and she also welcome the dog she gave to her daughter Malia who she said has a more human heart than the people she erased from her life.

She said,

“Wala na po (tawa), may nilalandi na siya (tawa) hindi nag-effort na lunukin ang pride chicken para kay tisay.”

Meanwhile, along with her split up with Lee, their food business ‘Pok-Lee’ was also closed. Netizens learned that she had broken up with Lee when the comedian modified the packaging of the goods they were selling. Pokwang did replace the image of her and Lee with a photo of her.
The actress is now warning customers not to purchase their goods in order to avoid being scammed.

She said,

“PAALALA, one year na wala ang PokLee Food Products. Sarado na po ito at wag na po kayo mag-message or umorder ng aming produkto sa Messenger, sa Shopee at Lazada dahil ibang brand po ide-deliver sa inyo PLEASE! Magbasa kayo tapos magagalit kayo kapag na-scam kayo! Matagal na wala yan po. @mamangpokwangs_gourmet na ang aming produkto, yan po ang legit now sa FB at IG po maraming salamat po.”

Meanwhile, Lee has yet to release a statement in response to Pokwang’s cryptic posts.
