Isang TikToker Na May Kapansanan At Binansagang “Putol”, Nakapagtapos Ng Senior High School Bilang Isang Honor Student
If you often scroll on TikTok, you might already stumble upon the 24-year-old TikToker named Aldrin Pawa from Palawan. He has 2 million followers and almost 23 million likes on Tiktok. He frequently shows his dancing steps, happenings in his life, and how he accomplishes things like writing, feeding himself, and so on in his Tiktok account.
Many people are happy and inspired by him but it is also inevitable that some people criticize him.
He shared,
“Sa bawat pamba-bash sa akin ng tao, nasasaktan ako, parang naapektuhan ang confidence ko. Nada-down ako sa sarili ko, pero hindi dahilan iyon para ma-down ako or sumuko ako.”
Because of this, Aldrin worked harder on his studies and now he graduated from senior high school as an honor student.
Aldrin stated,
“Umulan man o mainit…minsan sa sobrang init nagkakaroon ako ng nana sa tuhod kakalakad. Lahat yan tiniis ko, pinagtiyagaan ko para mapatunayan ko sa sarili ko na itong ‘PUTOL’ na tinatawag nila ay makakapagtapos ng pag-aaral.”
Aldrin plans to go to college and take an education course. That’s why he does everything to make his dreams come true and to bring inspiration to people like him. And despite the criticism he received from some people, he continued to make content to his TikTok account so he can inspire people who also have disabilities that whatever they seemed lacking to them became a motivation for them to work harder and achieve their dreams.
Aldrin stated,
“Gusto ko lang naman po na maipakita sa buong mundo na kahit ganito ako—wala akong kamay, wala akong paa—pinapakita ko lang ang talento na meron ako.
“Gusto ko pong magbigay inspirasyon sa mga taong katulad kong may kapansan na kung ano man ang kapansanan nila, maging motivation ito sa kanila.”
