Regine Velasquez, Pumalag Sa Gumawa Ng Kanilang Videoke Matapos Makakuha Ng Mababang Score Ng Kantahin Ang Sarili Niyang Kanta

The Philippines is home to talented singers. And one of what we consider Pinoy pride in the field of singing is Regine Velasquez, who is known as the “Asia’s Songbird”.

The Kapamilya singer-actress does not hold back when it comes to singing. But recently, Regine did not show off her singing talent on the concert stage but in her karaoke session with her family.

On October 16, Regine shared on her Instagram account a video where she happily sang karaoke with her brother Jojo. In the video, she and her brother can be heard singing her own song “Forever” on the karaoke machine. Regine and OPM legend Martin Nievera performed “Forever,” which was first heard by many in 1998.

But what should have been a proud moment for Regine, thinking that she would get a perfect score as she herself sang the song ended up hilarious. How come she only received an 80 after singing it. Regine couldn’t believe the score she got when it is her and Martin Nievera’s song.

Regine thought the karaoke machine was fooling her due to her poor score. Regine stated that she will contact the manufacturer of the karaoke machine due to the score it gave her.

Regine said in her Instagram post,

“Karaoke with my family. So kinanta ko yung SONG KO tapos ito lang eh!!!!!!ako nga kumanta nya!!!! Parang kailangan ko kausapin yung gumawa nito may daya eh @jovelasquezig”

In the end, Regine’s viral post about the low score she got garnered many reactions from netizens.

Here are some of their comments:

“kalerkey madam reg…may topak ang video-ke nio! Pag paliwanagin yan sa barangay! That is unacceptable!”

“nadaya pa nga! 80 x 80 talaga yan ate hahahha”

“Hahahaha why naman 80 lang yung original singer?”

“Ms. Reg, yung videoke nyo po need munang abisuhan na IKAW si Regine V. Maling-mali yung score”

“may sira po ung karaoke, grabe ung score”
